The Woodlands Shotokan Karate Kids Classes
The classes are 30 min and the focus is on learning discipline, etiquette, and simple karate techniques. Children 5-7 it depends on their attention span and ability to focus on the instruction and follow class rules. For some children, their desire to learn Karate carries them thru and they are able to participate in the class. We use a stripe system as a simple ranking system that each child will progress thru until they are ready to begin the normal 10 Kyu belt ranking system
